Being reported this morning and currently gaining steam the Tennessee coaching staff knowingly played their offensive tackle two quarters of the UK game while exhibiting concussion symptoms. Kid is now alleged to have suffered concussion end of first quarter and played until fourth quarter.

Think the magnifying glass is full on.
Buyout is 14 million unless for cause.
Violating concussion protocol would do it.

A friend of mine’s sister is high up in Tennessee athletic department and has it on good authority that Butch Jones won’t be fired. This could give them reason, but my friend said he heard they would wait until the end of the season and they still aren’t likely to fire him then.

Checking up....UT is currently paying four former coaches plus a former AD.
In fact, Phil Fulmer came off payroll this past year.
Lots of money at UT....reportedly over 80 million coming in...

But 14 million for one coach if they can't find 'cause' other than 'cause' they can't win...that's an ouch for anyone.
