Andrew Taylor, 6'3" Guard...Update To Miss. State

Would love to get this guy in the back court.

20.2 PPG, 36% 3pts, 4.7 Assists, 4.7 Rebs, 2.1 Steals.

This would be the quality experience at guard that this team could use. It makes the timing of signing Danilo even more puzzling when you still have players like this entering the portal. We all want Mgbako but only one scholly left.

Maybe a player is leaving? It all feels fluid.

If both Mgbako and Taylor want to come here then you make room somehow.

I know you can't trust rumors all the time but a little while back it was said Payne and staff were waiting on a guard that had yet to enter the portal. No idea if it was Taylor but the staff reached out to him very quickly today.

That's another reason why signing Danilo caught everyone off guard. They were expecting Mgbako and a veteran guard. But like you said portal land stays fluid.

Good lord you cant sit on your hands and just hope xyz enters . And justbecause a program reaches out doesn't mean they really expect to get the player they just putting their hat in the ring .Alot of kids have an idea where they want to go before they jump in. They watch the movement of teams they are interested in . He not coming here to be a back up.

I think the staff is probably doing due diligence, which is what they do with a lot of players in the portal am sure. They probably had preliminary contacts with 100s of players in the portal. Spots or one spot could always open up with the portal still open.

You're right, if Taylor came here he would be a starter. Who do you think UofL should use their last scholly on or who they should go after?

You already said Mgbako and Taylor aren't coming here. Either of those guys would be a major piece or maybe even a game changer. To me, you can't use the last scholarship on another project. It needs to be either an immediate impact young player or quality experience that can help out right away.

I'm not the coach only KP knows what he wants .As far as me saying Taylor not comming that's based on he is not starting over any of these players. McKenzie I just felt he is just looking for something specific and I dont think it's with U of L like I said I would love to have him.Depending on the source you are hearing very conflicting rumors either he is lean for U of L or is wanting to play closer to home and some are saying they have no clue.
