I thought we may be able to get our stuff together, and I thought people were over reacting about Bobby’s coaching, but I can’t question it anymore. The fanbase has turned on him out of frustration. His record doesn’t really justify it, but the fact that we just got slaughtered by UVA is embarrassing and it may be time to move on. We are moving backwards. Unless this team turns it around I think he’s gotta go after this season.
That said, I think the guys you have to go after if Bobby is done are Brent Venables #1 (likely not happening), #2 Go back to the well and see if Charlie will come back, #3 Dave Aranda (LSU DC). If you want change you don’t hire Jeff Brohm. From what I’ve seen he will be more of the same. However, if you think our problem is just that Bobby is old and doesn’t care anymore maybe Brohm is your guy.
