Hadley has been an absolute no show.

Smith out is a big deal but they wouldn’t give him any space either.

Injuries just killed them against the better teams.

But not giving him space opens the floor for others. Hepburn's offense has been down since Smith's been out.

Duke is going to win. They played better tonight.

Tough matchup for Hadley. He's not going to be as effective posting up against Duke.

It was Hepburn who was neutralized in this game and with Smith out, Edwards was the only other player who can create his shot.

These hack announcers are so full of shit. Duke is not the best team even with Flagg. I think Florida, Auburn and Tennessee are all better. Maybe Alabama as well?

Perhaps. The SEC teams appear to have played a tougher schedule so it’s hard to compare but Duke has already beaten Auburn.

Not the winning formula...obviously. I'd rather see him off the ball. Kelsey has 5 days to get the kinks out of the stagnant movement.

I think it would be a stretch for us to win the title so I hope Duke wins it all. I actually think Duke has a really good chance to go all the way. I do think the SEC has more good teams but Duke is up there with them. I can’t complain about our season I really never thought we would be in the situation we are in. I actually thought this was going to be a 3 year rebuild after the destruction KP did to our program.

The Reyne Smith being out effect. Louisville going up against the top teams are going to need all their weapons. This game clearly proves that.

Hubby and I have been at the ACCT since Tuesday.

The Cards looked as exhausted in the 2nd half as we look.

I hope we get a Friday draw so the players and coaches have one more day of R &R and Reyne is ready to go.

As hard as they play and with only 7 guys it takes a toll in a 3-4 game tournament.

They have to get Smith back to stretch out the floor but moving forward the bigs have to be a threat inside and outside. It isn’t easy to find 3-4 of those kind of guys.

As much as I like James Scott against teams with legit interior bigs he clogs the paint. That in turn hurts Hadley. Hadley can’t pass out of post. Can’t pick and pop or post up the smaller player. Now certain teams his skill set is perfect but against Duke he is a liability. This is where Pryor injury hurts.

Duke has depth and skill.

Yeah, we just hung with one of the best teams in America,had them on the ropes(man I wish that 1st half had lasted another 10 minutes).
We all said it during the second half that they were tired. Everyone but the energizer bunny Edwards 😅
Duke did this to us the first time. We're legitimately close to being able to make a deep run in this tournament. I kept thinking last night if there had been one more offensive option to keep up with their's.

I commented during the game about the differential in fouls shots. Every time you looked they were shooting fouls. They drive to the basket, foul, we drive nothing. I realize we fouled intentionally a few at the end of the game but they shot 24 we shot 10. not blaming the loss on the officials but it did impact the game.
