Hell, going undefeated for 2 years doesn't even get a non-P5 team a playoff invite. Edit: I have no ill will towards Cincy. I'm an older guy who has great memories of the old UofL-Cincy rivalry through multiple conference affiliations. We had some great games before we parted ways a few years ago. I just don't like trolls. So, good luck Bearcat fans; get lost Bearcat_Nippert.

I’m sure the ACC would take Memphis over UC ANY DAY. UL had 1 season with less than 8 wins while in ACC. Had a Heisman winner. I’ve been to UC stadium. lol it’s a AAC place for sure. But fact is any average P5 team could win 10 games vs AAC teams

Austin Peay, Miami of OHIO, SMU,Navy. Lol. Look at the freaking schedule. I see why they paired them up with a 6-6 ACC team. And Cincy basketball is done. Every since Xavier came around and started owning them and actually having success in that city it’s over.

Im sure they saw that 3-8 record last year and now see Xavier taking over the city on the basketball court and figured PASS. UL wins 8 games a yr their first 4 yrs in ACC and was a Co ACC champ in 2016. Had 1 bad yr. Yeah they’ve been a disaster. And BTW VT was a 6-6 team. Bottom of the ACC. Don’t forget UC was getting embarrassed by the likes of Marshall and ECU last yr. UCF and USF has had a lot more success consistently than UC. Now kick rocks Troll

Yeah you and those great facilities up there. Let’s see we’ve tied once for the conference title in FB held our own in BB won baseball. Won in women’s BB. Do you guys have a baseball team? How about women’s BB? What have you done that so great in BB or FB for that matter. I for one have no desire to give UC a bone by playing them. Have fun in the AAC. Just saw today that Luke Fickell is going to end up at WVU. A power 5 program. Figured I would revisit this. Lol. And they had a bright future until they got their coach poached . Go Cards

The AAC is a joke and we had a share of the Atlantic division title in 2016 and a heisman trophy winner. Disaster? I think not. Try going 7-6, 4-8, and 4-8 3 out of your last 4 years in AAC... I think the number of winning seasons sense the big east split up goes to the cards. 1 bad year does not make our program any less proud and strong.

I lived in Cincinnati from the late 90's through the Brian Kelly era and I concur with all of this. A side note, Cincinnati is a completely different city when the Reds are winning, there's just something in the air. I look forward to something being in the air next year, they made some very aggressive off-season moves that will have them more competitive than in recent years.

You may, indeed, save your coach from WVU simply because of the Catholic school situation but I assure you that next year a P5 school will come calling and Luke will be gone. That’s a promise. For example it wouldn’t surprise me that Pitt will be looking for a coach after next season. Cincy is not a great home for really good football coaches. The fact that so many of Cincy’s coaches have moved on to greener pastures should tell you something. Cincy sucks as a football school and guess what, the ACC realized this when they chose UofL over Cincy and UConn.
