I'm listening in on the ACC Teleconference today and will provide updates:
First up, Dabo Swinney from Clemson:
- Doesn't like the satellite camps - "these aren't camps, these are combines."
- Doesn't like the Cost of Attendance money: "When you have schools that can give 3 or 4,000 more than another school... I don't like where we're at... I think kids will be making decisions for the wrong reasons."
- Why the ACC is getting better? "Recruiting... We are getting better players... there are a lot of great things about this conference and a lot of great venues."
- Not going to be a big difference from last year's defense despite losses.
- Our secondary is going to be as good as its been since we have been here.
- We have talented depth, but we don't have experienced depth.
- I like where we are from a defensive standpoint personnel wise. We just have to do what we do to get more people ready to play.
