3 Point Shooting

As of right now, it seems 3 point shooting is a definite weakness on this team. Payne needs to get at least one knock down 3 point shooter but preferably more than one. This makes the guard situation even more important. Would like the Cards to get a good floor general PG that can also shoot the 3 and a shooting guard that can do the same.

That would be ideal but right now Traynor and BHH seem to be who we have at PF. Unless Glenn or Williams plays there too. Flowers to wants to be a guard.

Just wish we knew what Payne and staff are truly going after and what they see as must have. But still plenty of time and transfers out there.

You have to have some shooters in today’s game to be successful. No way around it. Even more specifically, guys with range.

Players that can create their own shot and also drive the ball to find shooters. Stretch 4s and 5s are big.

The Steph Curry Effect is real. Watching the women play the other night…. The guard for Iowa Caitlin Clark. Pull up and step back 3s from 25ft. Crazy.

Finding some shooters with some range is critical.
