I’m being told that Satterfield wanted a new deal and a long-term extension and Louisville did not want to meet him on that request after a 7-5 season. Satterfield took his ball, and left and is off to Cincinnati.
I do believe Josh Heird had a plan in place, in case Satterfield’s reaction was just this. I expect this to move rather quickly and I would say the guy up in West Lafayette is likely to be coming home.
