#2 Volleyball continues the road swing with a stop in Tallahassee to face FSU at 3 p.m. today. This one is on ESPN.

Last time out, Florida State swept Notre Dame; 25-20, 25-18, 25-17 and is now 9-3 on the season. Their losses are not bad losses, really. With two coming to 15th ranked Florida, and 17th ranked Creighton. The third loss is the worst loss, dropping a four set match to Cincinnati in Cincy. The best win on FSU's schedule right now is probably a 3-1 decision over Dayton. Notre Dame is maybe the next best, but so far the Irish are sub-.500 on the season.

How are things without Anna DeBeer? The Volleycards defeated a talented Miami squad without her, Nena Mbonu filled in nicely at the outside hitter spot and PK Kong also saw valuable minutes and produced well. No doubt, though...DeBeer's skills are being missed and let's hope the knee heals quickly.

It should be a challenging one today and today's match is the end of a four-match road trip where the Cards engaged UK, Stanford, Miami and now, the Noles.

Well we took care of business in convincing fashion sweeping FSU 3-0 and it was the first loss for FSU at home in awhile. We look good and continue to improve still some work needed in some areas but this team could end up as good or better than last year.

Exactly. Seems like she has been one of the bright spots early on. Bits well and blocks very well. Makes me think she was either banged up or did something resulting her being held out for the match.

I believe that DBK is doing this to build her line up by playing Nena Mbonu, Phekran Kong, and others while she has a chance. The season is long and injuries will occur. DeBeer is an example. The Cards were fortunate last year to avoid major problems. Cresse has seen some good playing time and perhaps Schetnan will also. Georgia Tech looms next Sunday and then Pitt is on the horizon.

Another exceptional performance in a hostile environment yesterday. GT a is going to be another serious challenge.
