If you have a football itch, do I have just the post for you. After talking with a source close to the program, here are a few items to pass along:

- The could be the fastest Louisville team to take the field. They had 19 players reach 20+ mph. Last year at this time ONLY 7 guys reached that mark.

- Isaac Brown is the fastest player on the team. Clocked over 21 mph and consistently has been the fastest day in and day out.

- The team is significantly faster, but also WAY more athletic.

- TJ Capers is a freak athletically, and has the look of NFL guy already. He's one of the players who reached 20 mph while weighing over 230 pounds. It will be hard to keep him off the field.

- Caullin Lacy and Jacorey Brooks are legit. Those two will be a dynamic duo. Chris Bell works his tail off and is well liked by the staff. Blue (Hicks) is also a guy that has been mentioned as one who could take a jump at WR.

- The pressure on the WRs won't be near the same as last year, given what Louisville brought in at TE. Jaleel Skinner (Miami transfer) and Izayah Cummings (UK transfer) are freaks. Skinner is one of the fastest players on the team.

- Jamari Johnson has been clocked around 19 mph, and is firmly in good enough shape and fast enough to play TE in this offense.

- The QB room has a positive energy about it. They all push each other in the weight room and are super competitive. They are in the building more than anyone else, as they should be.

MAIN TAKEAWAY: Expect a much faster team than last year, which was a big complaint and exposed vs USC.

The message to the team is finish. The whole team is pissed off about how they closed out the season.

Let's Play Football.
