It is an accurate representation of what is happening, and why UK will be the biggest victim of all ……. the emergence of the SEC in basketball, as well as all sports explains why ESPN was the first to recognize and invest in the SEC.

I agree with the author of the subject link, as it is pretty much universal across all of college sports, but I honestly see UK becoming the largest victim in basketball, as they have the greatest distant to fall, and being surrounded now by schools who have as much passion for the sport are retaining the abundant talent in their respective states. Conversely, the state of KY is no where close to the level it enjoyed so many decades ago.
