A quick note about what Cardinals Football fans should be proud of:
Louisville is one of the smallest (if not THE SMALLEST) Public universities playing P5 Football. As measured by either undergraduate or total enrollment. Also by number of Living Alumni. Also by Endowment(s).
Despite that, this Little Engine can play football with the big boys and draw an average 51,000 fans to its games. It's always been ... and always will be ... an uphill climb for this Little Engine. For the players and fans and the Coaches and AD.
The Cards don't have 500,000 Living Alumni from which to draw. Or even 200,000! The University doesn't have 35,000 or 45,000 enrolled students.
I am very proud of this Little Engine.
Keep Chugging Away!
I think I can! I think I can! I think I can!
