- Did anyone watch the IU pre-game on the Big Ten network? They were giving their picks, and I've seen some homerism, but good God! They had Michigan State beating Washington, after losing their coach mid-week to some embarrassing allegations. Also claimed Nebraska (who are NOT good) would shut out Northern Illinois. ((FACEPALM)) Do these guys even follow football?
- Hearing lots of criticisms of Jack Plummer and the lack of pressure from the defense (by way of blitzing). BOTH have stepped up when needed and are the reason we are 3-0. Don't look a gift horse in the mouth
- I'm thinking that by NOT winning easily against Georgia Tech or IU - by NOT playing our best game...may actually work out in our favor. The team knows they have flaws and things to work on. They should not be feeling themselves too much, because there are indeed things to work on and clean up. They know they cannot overlook an opponent or let off the gas. But they also know they can dig deep and secure a win.
