Looked to my right and Coach Crum was right beside me waiting to buy a dog just like everyone else.
We were playing Penn State maybe? Can't remember for sure.(Penn State boat raced us when we played-I do remember that)
He could not have been any nicer--talked about recruiting, the football game, and golf for a second.
Nobody else really bothered him-surprised me
I was a complete nobody. Still am. But he wasn't too "big time" to chat
He was such a classy, nice man
And I hope history never forgets what a great coach. Nobody was ever better in the clutch and out of a time out
I will be there tonight and probably wipe away a tear.
