used to happen a lot under RP also, we stop their top 3 guys and the seldom used 4th or 5th guy is left open and has the game of his life. something you gotta live with regretfully
Or maybe it's "the comeback that saved Kenny Payne's job" game.
It was a good atmosphere in thr Yum, and it was a bit shocking to see Kenny urging the crowd to get louder with 1 or 2 minutes to go.

The game flow from about 8 minutes in was pretty cool. It was great for the little kids to see this and hear the crowd. It does show that an exciting winning team will go a long way toward refilling the Yum.
Jeff W has said multiple times if kids play hard fans will always appreciate the effort. I remember playing in college baseball another athlete came up to me after a game told me I like watching you play because you give it your all. We sucked. People will always support hard work. Winning tends to come with it when you have good players playing hard.

By not falling behind 15 points early it definitely makes it easier for the crowd to get engaged. They have done a great job of not falling in that hole the last few games.
