Louisville
F - Quinn Slazinski 6'8" 215lbs
F - Dre Davis 6'5" 220lbs
C - Jae'Lyn Withers 6'8" 215lbs
G - Carlik Jones 6'2" 185lbs
G - David Johnson 6'5" 210lbs
Evansville
F - Jax Levitch 6'7" 195lbs
F - Evan Kuhlman 6'8" 215lbs
F - Trey Hall 6'9" 200lbs
G- Shamar Givance 5'10" 170lbs
G - Noah Frederking 6'4" 205lbs
Thoughts:
This doesn't come as too much of a surprise given the injuries Louisville is dealing with (Williams, Williamson, Nickelberry & Mineland). I didn't anticipate Igiehon would start but I did think JJ Traynor may get a look before Dre Davis or Quinn Slazinski. Davis did earn the gold practice jersey a couple weeks back so maybe he has really progressed since he has arrived on campus. This may be a great opportunity for Louisville to get some experience in for the younger guys even if that means the game looks sloppy at times or they end up losing a game or two early on. Hopefully that experience will pay dividends down the road with a deeper lineup.
