In the past Louisville has had great games in the 4 vs 5 match up.
2014 beat St Louis by double digits.
2012 escaped New Mexico
2005 steam rolled Georgia Tech
1993 a beat down on Oklahoma State
1989 beat Arkansas with no trouble
1988 crushed BYU(Sunday's match up reminds me of this match up)
1984 escaped Tulsa but Tulsa was the higher seed
Only the 1981 US Reed half court shot(he traveled) was lost by Louisville

Let's hope the Cards stay on the winning side of this 4vs5 match up Sunday.

That's because the fan base is still scratching it's head about this team. We are holding our breath to see which UL team shows up Sunday. This team is not going to out shoot and blow out anyone. They need to embrace a stifling defense as their only route to success.

We played St. Louis in 2014.

Louisville was the #1 overall seed in 2013 and played Colorado St. in the second round.

In 1992 Louisville was an 8 and all the talk was wake Forrest because they had upset duke earlier that year.
93 Oklahoma St had big country Louisville was sure to lose
05 a lot people feared Ga Tech because they made a final four run the year before.


All those games where people was praising the Cards to fall the Cards rolled.
