The Cards just put together one of the more impressive weekends in recent memory down in Texas.

Beat A&M, TCU, and Michigan to win the 2023 Shriners Children's College Classic at Minute Maid Park. But not only did they beat all three of those teams, two of which were top-15 clubs, they dominated.

They outscored their opponents 27-7 over the three games and Louisville starting pitchers combined to allow just one run over 20 innings of work.

Ryan Hawks is becoming a true Friday starter, JUCO transfer Greg Farone absolutely shut down TCU on Saturday, striking out nine, while allowing just two hits.

On Sunday, Carson Liggett threw seven, shut-out innings, which was the first complete game by a Louisville pitcher since Brendan McKay in 2016.

The lineup absolutely smashes the ball. Jack Payton, Eddie King Jr, and Patrick Forbes are all hitting over .400 from the plate.

Impressive showing for the Cards.
