Sunday’s Spring Game (practice) will begin at 4 p.m. in Cardinal Stadium and will be televised on the ACC Network.

This will not be a regular game. Statistics will not be kept because this is more of a situational scrimmage – placing the ball on different spots on the field during their scrimmage periods.

The first 40-45 minutes will be individual drills before breaking off into offense and defense for the last part of practice.

Three questions that could be answered today:

1. How is the development behind Malik Cunningham coming along?

Evan Conley, the backup over the last several years is still out with an injury. How have Brock Domman and Khalib Johnson progressed over the last month? Identifying a true backup by fall camp would do wonders for the quarterback room.

2. Who emerges at nose tackle?

Most of the defensive line is set in stone -- Ashton Gillotte and YaYa Diaby figure to man the end spots in Louisville's defense, but who will step up at nose tackle? Dez Tell and Caleb Banks have generated the most buzz thus far.

3. Has the secondary improved?

Greedy Vance and Kani Walker left the program via the transfer portal. Kei'Trel Clak and Kenderick Duncan are still rehabbing injuries. There's no way around it, Louisville's secondary is thin and inexperienced at the moment. Veteran Chandler Jones returns, transfer M.J. Griffin was added to the mix, but a lot of the help won't arrive until the summer.
