SMU could be a problem in the near future. One thing is certain. They have mucho dinero behind them. And that dinero is interested not just competing at the highest level but winning now that they're there.
The only school I know for sure that has more money behind them is Arkansas, with the Walton family plus Jerry Jones. SMU has some big hitters.
If SMU can turn it up a notch and take out some Texas schools in their out-of-conference before ACC play, they can really help move the needle.
