I remember when he was a prospect. He really was on the same level as Dwight Howard at one point in that class. It's amazing how careers in that class went different ways.
Sebastion Telfair was way better than Rondo in that class, but Rondo became the man. A lot of people forget that Telfair was on Boston, but was traded to Minnesota in the KG trade. Opening up the PG spot for Rondo.
I just think about my time at UofL and what could've been different had we gotten Rondo for the 2005-2006 seasons. Rondo could've been the best player to ever be in Rick's system with his defensive skills and passing abilities. Just had the motor. He would've fed those 3 guys in my avatar, probably gets us a title. And then if he could run point in 2006 and move Dean off the ball along with Padget, that's a much better team.
