OK, Let's say that Georgia, Washington and Ohio State win the next two weeks and go into playoff selection day as SEC, PAC, & BIG undefeated conference champions, This is actually not a big stretch. And let's assume Texas stumbles and is upset in the Big12 championship game by Oklahoma St (their likely opponent if the Cowboys get by BYU this weekend). Upsets do happen.

If the above plays out, we will have three bonafide no-brainers in the College Football Playoff with the undefeated BIG & PAC Champs squaring off in the Rose Bowl in the PAC's finale season, and the undisputed 2-time defending National Champion who has won 30 straight games, the ultimate Goliath, waiting for its next meal/opponent, or possibly their cryptonite David?

Who will it be that fills that last spot?

Look at these nameless resumes and make YOUR selection:

Candidate # Record Top25 Rec Top25 Road W's Non-Conf P5 W's Unrnkd L's P5 Conf Rec P5 Champ?
Team #1 11-2 1-2 0 1 0 7-3 NO

** - Beat Team #7 in Conf Champ Game, lost to South Alabama & UCF by a combined 78-10

P5 Conf Rec = Team's 2023 Conference Record vs Other P5 Conf Teams

So....Who's in? Who takes on Goliath in New Orleans?
