Cards sweep series, win 8-2

Cards sweep the series against UConn, winning today 8-2. Kidston got the win, pitching 5 innings, issuing 5 BB's and 2 K's. Threw 95 pitches which is a lot for 5 innings. Rogers, Zac Burdi, and Filomeno all pitched in relief. Offense was led by Rosenbaum's HR. Rosenbaum had 2 hits and 2 rbis. Whiting and Gardner also had 2 hits apiece. Logan Taylor had 1 hit but had 2 rbis.

Unfortunately, UCF also swept Rutgers this weekend, winning game 2 in 10 innings. Cards are still 2.5 games back and have rival USF this weekend.

Cards are now 33-11 and getting closer to that 40 win mark.
