Cards in the Summer League

A couple Louisville Cardinals are really helping themselves in the summer league this year. It's not the most visually appealing basketball, but these guys are out there fighting to make rosters. It's intense if nothing else. Here's how the Cards are doing

Russ Smith - Memphis - 14.8 pts / 6.2 ast / 3.2 stl - Champion of Orlando Summer League
Montrezl Harrell - Houston - 13.0 pts / 7.5 reb
Terry Rozier - Boston (Utah league) - 12.3 pts / 3.3 reb / 3.7 ast
Terry Rozier - Boston (Las Vegas league) - 12.0 pts / 2.7 reb / 5.0 ast
Peyton Siva - Orlando - 5.0 pts / 4.5 ast
Earl Clark - Brooklyn - 4.3 pts / 3.0 reb
Wayne Blackshear - San Antonio - 4.7 pts / 1.7 reb / 1.3 ast

Russ, Rozier, and Harrell looking good so far. Russ really deserves a chance to get some minutes this NBA season IMO.

Would love to see Russ get the chance, I think he could help some teams in the league ie. My Lakers.

If Memphis doesn't keep Russ, I think they'll be making a huge mistake. He's playing incredibly well, and you can tell he wants it. Hopefully someone will give him a shot. He deserves it.
