Yasir had his first outing last night, against the Cowboys. He notched a sack, another tackle for loss, and generally seemed to cause chaos in the Dallas backfield. I’m a Jag fan since day one and I’m really excited to see if this young man can help us generate a pass rush. One thing that stood out to me was how big and stout he looked. Maybe I’m just misremembering him from college, but he seems dramatically bigger.

The Jacksonville media has really heaped praise on him. I think you’re right in saying the Jags got a steal with him. Granted the Cowboys played very few starters, but I think that Yasir will turn heads early and often with his athleticism and aggressive style of play.
