Out of the four University of Louisville players on WNBA rosters, it was Myisha Hines-Allen with the big day yesterday.

She recorded a double-double, with 27 points and 10 rebounds for the Washington Mystics, who trounced the Indiana Fever 101-76. Hines-Allen had 14 points at the end of the first quarter, 22 at halftime and finished with her career-high in both statistics in only her second-ever career start.

Kylee Shook saw 12 minutes of playing time for the New York Liberty and had two points and a rebound against the Seattle Storm. Unfortunately, the Liberty lost 87-71 to the Storm in "the wubble" at IMG Academy in Bradenton, FL.

Jazmine Jones did not play for the New York squad. She was listed as "probable" in the pre-game injury report with a sprained right ankle. You could certainly hear Jaz, though, on the sidelines.

Asia Durr is sitting out the action for the Liberty after contracting COVID-19 in June. Her experience might have helped New York, who had rookie Sabrina Ionescu running things at point-guard, but going just 4-17 from the floor (23%) for 12 points and committing four turnovers.

In other action, the LA Sparks blew out the Phoenix Mercury 99-76 in the middle game.

Hines-Allen was the leading scorer in the league yesterday !

Today (Sunday), three more games -- with Angel McCoughtry taking the court with the Las Vegas Aces today at 3 p.m. against the Chicago Sky. This one will be televised on ABC.

The.Connecticut Sun and Minnesota Lynx start it off at noon (ESPN) and the final of the day pits the Dallas Wings against the Atlanta Dream (CBS Sports Network) at 5 p.m.

A big "high five" and both-handed "L" display to Myisha for yesterday's performance!

Again, Kylee looked a little hesitant and slow for the game. She got used by Stewy a couple of times but who doesn’t? First game jitters I guess. Odom from Duke looked fantastic!

Am so happy for MHA. She worked so hard to enhance her playing ability after arriving in Louisville. Expect her to produce throughout the year.
