NC State Hires Will Wade

That’s a very good hire, another legit hire and we need good coaches within the ACC.
NC State is a school that will support basketball. They have fans and a good arena. They just haven't had a coach worth caring about for 30+ years. A hire like this gets season ticket holders and donors excited.
I mean thinking about it, you could make an argument that he's a better and more proven coach than Scheyer and Hubert Davis, not that it's true but it's an argument. It's not like he's compared to Coach K and Roy Williams. NC State can attract recruits too, they've always had a good amount of talent. Heck a mediocre coach had enough talent to take them to the Final Four.
They really are one of those sleeping giant type programs, the right coach will have them winning.
And this is what we want.
We want big time matchups in the YUM. We want Will Wade's cocky *ss bringing a ranked team into the YUM so we can boo him and have an electric atmosphere.

Yes. In the portal age, apparently it’s even a good idea that this becomes public knowledge early … his “McCheese” players can consider the NCAA tourney games as an audition for a spot on next year’s NC State roster.
