Why is it so hard for the refs to call fouls when Rozier drives?

For the most part, the refs have done a good job so far in this game, but they just don't seem to call fouls when Terry goes to the goal. On that last play for the half he was mugged and no whistle. Good thing Johnson put it back in. There was another drive earlier in the game Terry was fouled and no whistle. And we remember the other day when he was slammed in the face on a drive without a whistle. There wasn't even a review. I've seen reviews of arms to the face that were nothing compared to that one.

I think they get it in their head that Terry's out of control when he takes it on three defenders and don't want to bail him out. I don't know, but I wish the refs felt like that when the Harrisons drive to the goal.

Why is it so hard for the refs to call anything on MSU? We make ANY contact the whistle blows. Our guys get held and knocked down and no whistle.

There you have it. Rozier goes to the rim and no foul. MSU goes the other way and Blackshear pins the shot on the backboard and there's the whistle. This is why so many fans bitch about the refs in these games. They have yet to call a foul when Rozier drives to the goal. Not one damn time! I guess MSU is just perfect on defending drives to the goal.

Refs suck. Pure and simple. Almost every game they screw up. Do we ( U of L ) not pay them and other schools do ? Or does the ncaa tell them how to call our games ? Anyone have some insider information on this ?

Agreed. Hate the double standards for the Cards game in this game. MSU really got away with lots of contact on Rozier. No fouls called on drives in the half court offense! Unbelievable!

Pitino alluded to it in the postgame. If anyone heard it i think he was referring to the final play in
regulation. They drew it for Rozier to drive and take the shot perhaps
get a call as well. I think he felt they did not get the foul called
there and Rozier should have been heading to the line for two shots
instead of the put back by Mango. It did appear Rozier got fouled. I
posted in another thread that if that was one of the uk twins they would
not have hesitated to blow the whistle.

At the end of some of his drives he shies away from contact and throws up a wild shot, and there is no bail out.

There are times he's hammered and gets no call.

Can't finger it, it is possible Pitino is on the blacklist. Harrell was the victim of rough play most the year too.

Flip side Harrison at UK drives the lane and the whistles are wet before he gets touched. He gets 90% fouls called in lane, Terry is a bit out of control on drives Takes on too many defenders.

Yeah, but the Gary Coleman twins are better than Michael Jordan ever was. The ncaa is all about money and not about truth, honor, and the refs being impartial. For some reason they do not like Louisville or maybe they don't like coach Pitino. Either way, they are not much better than organized crime.
By the way, has North Carolina been punished yet for their cheating??
