Cards are bored playing no name teams even though theyll prepare you for the big 4 non conference games coming up.

Finished the game on a 36-7 run.

Hope they learned their lesson to put these teams away in the first half.

KR of course you are right, but there are times when a team gets “hot” as Upstate did last night from 3 point land. As soon as our guys bought into actually guarding the line did we did pull away. A HUGE lesson learned. We are a really good team getting better each and every game. Welcome back to Malik and David. They were awesome to see and their play was nothing short of super.

I thought our defense was not the right one for USCU. They weren’t that strong inside so playing the pack line defense was to their advantage. When we extended the defense in the 2nd half they really struggled. It should show us what will happen when we play sUcK if we use the pack line defense.
They aren’t strong on the inside either but if you let them shoot uncontested 3’s they will knock them down. We are a great offensive team we just need to improve our defense. With the depth we have we should be able to ware down our opponents with a tough defense.

Offense is usually better than the defense early on. These games right now help prepare the team to play defense before we get neck deep in conference games.

I agree with you the Cards are a legitimate contender this year. If we can develop a defense just as good as our offense I think it will happen.I have watched a lot of college games so far this year mainly the top teams. They are all struggling to score.
