Florida State is also 0 and 2. However, it wasn't one point games the Seminoles suffered defeat.

They lost at home by 9 to Stetson and lost to UCF on the road by 14. What's going on in Tallahassee?

Would Cards fans trade rosters or head coaches right now?

The hump Louisville has to get over wasn't ever going to be easy, but the Cards were just 2 points away from being 2 and 0.

FSU fans would take that.

The FSU example is both right and wrong.

Both coaches should be evaluated by their body of work. Leonard Hamilton has proven himself; Payne's career is comprised of those two games. Way too early to judge these coaches.

But if you're critical of where the program now stands, that criticism is 100% justified, and your analogy is bad. FSU basketball was never where U of L was.

This basketball program is in the $hitter, but it's not Payne's fault...

Here’s what’s going on in Tally. Due to injuries and NCAA bs, FSU is down 5 scholarship players.

Noles lost at home tonight to Troy by double digits. 0-3

Florida lost tonight at home to FAU.

A lot of upsets early in the season.

I find it so hard to believe the lack of common sense in some of these posts. EVERYONE knows the reason why Louisville has struggled. There is no extra excuses needed.

My post about FSU and others was about how beating these mid major teams is not as easy as it used to be. I figured it was a given but apparently some people still want to argue about something that's already known.

I’m usually positive and I’m willing to give KP a chance. But it’s beyond how hard it is to beat those teams, we don’t even look close to a team that can win a game in the ACC.

“Well the talent level!!!”
KP was sold as an ace recruiter and can’t fill out a roster.

The team looks like it’s regressed from last season. Now maybe it gets better, but this just looks ugly.

We know what Leonard Hamilton can do at FSU and we know mid-major losses can happen. Rick lost to WKU in a year we were the #1 overall seed.

But these losses haven’t looked like upsets, these look like we’re outmanned and out coached. We don’t look like a team that’s better or just underachieving.

How is losing by one point outmanned? Would you have the same opinion if the Cards won by one point?

And again with this KP was supposed to be a ace recruiter nonsense, when you know why recruits and transfers chose not to come here. The best recruiter in the world wasn't going to land players for Louisville in 2022.

Of course it's ugly. Everyone knew it would be or they should have known. But it hasn't been as ugly as FSU who has been blown out at home and not losing by one point.

This Cards team is learning on the job and how long that takes to start winning is still to be determined. I think this team is willing to work hard and KP has to have more than two games to be considered out coached.

Let’s work hard guys! Far cry from a program that wants a title. And it was only 3 years ago we made it to #1 in the nation, so it’s not like we are in a dire situation.

Learning on the job is a scary thing because you don’t know. I mean we should’ve kept David Padgett if we wanted to be patient with an alumni.

Could've, should've, would've. No sense in lamenting why we're in this position. Just got to get through this first season of the KP era and go from there.
