BooneCoCard for this week in the tiebreaker.

Results:
Mayo 5 of 8 and 1 of 1 TB score 34-31
Boone 5 of 8 and 1 of 1 TB score 35-24
nuckl 5 of 8 and 0 of 1
PHCd 4 of 8 and 0 of 1
nccdfn 4 of 8 and 1 of 1
Pushu 4 of 6 and 0 for 1
RealV 4 of 8 and 1 of 1

Boone and Mayo tied with both getting 5 of 8 right but Boone won on the TB score. He was within 19 total points and Mayo was within total of 25...so Boone was closer. TB scores are so important in figuring the winner at times.

Of note...none of us picked the Baylor upset of OK St. Go figure.

Well this wraps of the Pic Ums for this year. I want to thank all of you who participated in the ACC Pic Ums throughout the weeks. Hopefully I will be around and able to do this again next year from the very start of the season. I thought about doing allthe bowl games too but will be traveling too much and won't be able to keep up with it. Maybe one of you would like to step up and run that Pic Ums. I hope so.

Again TY to all and have some very Happy Holidays folks.

Thanks for doing this. It actually became very entertaining. If you do it again next year, let’s keep an overall tally for the whole season so we can crown a champion?

Thanks for this throughout the season. Has been fun and actually gave me a reason to monitor games outside of UofL games.

Sure. If you are volunteering to be my assistant....we can certainly do that.

Me too. I really paid more attention to all the ACC games and watched P&D a lot more than before. TY for your comment.

Looks like I picked the right time to rejoin the contest. I had an eventful fall and didn't keep up on the message boards like I used to. Thanks for running the Pick'em, Mayo!

Your welcome. TY for the kind words.

I hope you are fully recovered from your fall, In 2017 I fell off my roof/ladder as I was getting off the roof the ladder slipped out from under me and I fell about 15 feet and landed on my back and right hip on top of the ladder.

I bent one of the rungs of the ladder with my lower leg above the ankle. Hurt like hell. Long story short, 6 hours later in the ER and x-rays, ct scan and MRI later the ER doc came in and told me "No broken bones or internal injuries"...said I was the luckiest man in the world and he couldn't understand how I escaped that with a fall that high.

Well I was pretty bruised up and did suffer some nerve damage on my left leg just about 8 inches above the ankle on the outside portion of the leg. It actually looked like a compound fracture in but turned out to be a indentation inward that caused some parathesia to the nerve (Numbing/paralysis of the top of my foot on that side of my leg, etc).

That lasted for a good 9-12 months before the damaged nerve regenerated and it still acts up when the weather changes to real cold temperatures. I was extremely lucky to not break my neck or back or any other bones that day. I definitely have a healthy respect for roofs and ladders now.

Anyway...I hope you are doing well. And TY for playing. I hope you join in next year. Happy Holidays too you!!! ;)

You are right. So sorry for that oversight TRV. I went back and edited the post to include you. You had 4 of 8 and 1 of 1.

I was rushing to get this done and somehow I left you out. Please accept my apology for that man. I tried to be so thorough...I hope you understand.

TY for pointing that out and also for participating all the weeks that you did. You made it fun for me. Take care and Peace be with you.

Well, I may have been a little more suspicious had I won, but I didn't do to well so I figured you didn't want to embarrass me.

Look forward to next season.

Don’t you watch those commercials to stay off the ladders! Geez, what an ordeal. Glad it wasn’t worse than what it was!

OMG! You had quite the ordeal. I have a friend who slipped and fell getting out of a semi, severely injuring his hip and lower back. His orthopedist said he would have actually been better breaking his hip. He's doing OK now, but like the rest of us, he can tell when the weather is changing. The wife has banned me from going past the 2nd rung on a ladder and I don't argue.

Actually, my eventful fall was an eventful autumn. I contracted a severe UTI (e. coli) that required hospitalization for eight days. I have since had two procedures with the Roto-Rooter man and seem to be doing well.

It feels great to be back over here with all of you!
