We give Jeff another year. That’s all.

It was a textbook example on how to blow a game. I don't think I care what happens the rest of this season. Of course I want to win but so what if we don't.
Yeah this is how I feel. I just believe we waisted a great opportunity with a really good QB. If he doesn’t fire English I don’t see anything changing next year.

Never should have lost but firing him is emotional talk. Like there are better coaches for Louisville. If he can’t win here seriously doubt anyone else can.
Not saying he should be fired, but how can you seriously believe that’s there’s not someone else out there that couldn’t have done a better job on Saturday? I believe there are, problem is they won’t stay. Satt would have been far better Saturday and he would have been paid far less than Brohm.

Jeff was asked Monday prior to Stanford game, when team would go out. They left Friday, I believe late afternoon here. Gave some reasons I thought were poorly thought out. Game was at 3:30 here, but 12:30 there. When your planning for travel appears poorly planned, the game plans by staff will coincide.
Jeff needs to allow ALL staff to pregame plan at a higher level, and he ask questions and insert suggestions in an urgent manner.

And that's the mindset of someone who has been in smaller programs where it's more about the head coach. He's never been at a big time program and he's been under guys like Howard and Bobby who run the show. In smaller leagues and program, the head coach is the guy that just runs everything. And he's built a staff around him that fits him. That could work years ago. That could work in smaller leagues. But to take the step up he wants, he needs to be more like a CEO and delegate some things.

The game has gotten so big that it's impossible for one man to fully know play calling, scouting, recruiting, etc. and it all fit around him. The reason defenses fail under guys like him or a Bobby is that because they're full focused on calling plays that they just have to let the defense be in the hands of the DC. If he had an OC that could handle calling 75% of plays and game planning, he could focus a smaller bit of attention on the defense and see some things. He could focus more on big picture things and make sure his staff is performing rather than just trying to be involved in every single thing.

Less talent? We have less talent than Stanford now? While the Circle keeps beating their chest about having top 20 NIL funding and how they have had back to back #1 transfer classes? We just going to keep making shit up? We have top 4 team talent in the ACC lol.

Brohms biggest issue is having his guys ready for the big games and having less emphasis on the others. Hence why even when we beat a Virginia, it’s close. We haven’t been able to blow anyone out. Smacked Clemson around and they beat inferior opponents by 21+. It’s an operational issue.
I don’t agree with you often when it comes to recruiting- the HS vs Transfer angle that is… and it still remains to be seen who might be more accurate there. But while I think it would be foolish to even consider firing Brohm - and I’m not ssying you have suggested that but I agree with you that there clearly a coaching flaw somewhere that has to be addressed. It has happened to many times. When it comes to some of our lesser opponents… is it lack of scouting, less game prep, less motivation… I obviously have no idea but there is something here. But the GREAT thing is that I am certain that Brohm will figure it out… because he wants it just as much - actually more than. any of us. That is why it will be fixed. I’m still very bullish about the future of our football program.
We are moving in the right direction. Its not very realistic of us to expect to be national champions in 1 or 2 seasons. But in Brohms first 2 seasons we kinda got a sniff or some where talking of us being close. And also the fact that we had 3 loses and we’re still ranked - never ever would that have happened here!
Go check Dabo record at Clemson 29-19 his 1st 4years… he was 10-4 in year 4 so his first 3 was 19-15. Brohm could have 19 wins in just 2 years here.
I just saying to my Cardinal football friends. Keep your chins up because you’re in good hands. He wants to win a Championship here more than some of you realize. And the thing is… when he does he won’t leave!!!! AND it is only at that point that you can expect 10 wins yearly and complain when not. BABY STEPS FOLKS.

I by no means want Brohm fired. I think it’s blatantly obvious changes will be made on staff and I think in the next 18 months there will be a change in recruiting approach. Hauling in 20 guys every off season from the portal is too volatile, especially when you are expecting them to play a large role in team success. I personally think changes need to be made in the offensive staff as well. No way Brian should be the highest paid assistant. That’s a joke.

I could be wrong about this but I think when U of L played USC last year, Jeff took the same approach of when the team went out. The theory was keep the players in their normal routine as oppose to going out early and getting acclimated to the time zone changes. It didn't work out last year and apparently didn't work out this year. I think we need to rethink that approach.

They were down there early last year. It’s part of the bowl festivities. Even held a practice or 2 down there

Who has played good on these west or east games. There is no magic formula. Stay out there longer the players have to readjust the next week. I think getting out there and back was best.

They are games you just can’t explain.

Here's some thoughts they have to be going through some fans heads. Given Brohm's record of winning big games and losing ones we shouldn't, do we want to win against Pitt with the likelihood of having a let down against the kitties or lose to Pitt and beating UK because then it will be the only important thing left. Obviously, I want us to win both. Brohm needs it too.

It's all about focus. Can we focus for more than one game? It doesn't make sense. It's not the majors with a 162 game schedule.
We're pretty good when everybody comes to coach and play.
