I hope all from Louisville have a great time in Raleigh on Thursday except for the end or the game!
Anyway, I want to welcome you to Raleigh. I have heard a lot of things about our fan base but I have yet to see some of the things that have been mentioned, but if you have a bad experience I want to hope it is an isolated incident and most if not all show you the hospitality you folks showed last year in Louisville. i had a great time. I hope I could buy you drinks at the game but we do not sell beer or bourbon at the games, sorry. I had several drinks bought by Louisville fans. i think you felt sorry for us being behind about 30 points in the first quarter. I wish I could return the favor. I am sure it will be a heck of a game and hope you leave with good feelings about Raleigh and State fans! Here's to a great game and no injuries.

Always good to remind the opponents that a few bad apples make the fan base seem bad. I haven't encountered to many state fans, being from the side of Kentucky not close to North Carolina, so I don't have the experience others have voiced. Glad you had a good experience at PJCS, and I hope for an injury free game as well. Hopefully the same result as last season is reached, but it's good to have another school in our division step it up and give us another prime time opportunity. The conference is definitely on the come up.

Can’t make it this trip maybe in two years. Side note. I saw my first college football game at Carter-Finley Stadium. State vs UNC I was cheering for State, that was I think 1975. However won’t be Thursday, but hope for a great game injury free. Best of luck for the rest of the season.

I'm not gonna attend the game since it's on a Thursday. However it seems that a decent number of UofL fans had some unpleasant encounters with NC St fans at the Belk Bowl several years ago. Hopefully just a few bad apples.

First year we played at Clemson we had one of our big mouth fans behind me walking in showing her a$$. Finally turned around told her shut up she making the rest of us look bad. She did. There’s always a few.

I was at the Belk Bowl and living in Charlotte at the time. I think State was surprised at the number of U of L fans there and pretty much thought it was a home game for them. I do remember a state fan that tried to start some crap when a fellow U of L fan (big dude) just sort of "trucked" him as if he didn't see him. We then took a selfie together.
