Watching this Vermont vs Kansas game has me concerned about our game with Vermont on Friday. They are a very solid team. Wouldn’t surprise me at all if we lose to them.

Agree. I watched most of the game and this could be a difficult game for the Cards.

Vermont spread KU out. They drive the ball well and find open shooters. Vermont will test our defense.

I would not be surprised if it's a close game or a loss.

I think that Vermont will be our first loss, they gave Kansas a really tough game.

Vermont, being our first real test (then UT 11/21) I will interested to see how we play. I watched they Vermont vs. Kansas game. IMHO-- As a whole, it looks like the lightbulb hasn't went off for this team-- on either side of the ball. New systems take a while. It's a complete 180 from what Rick did. We may be playing down to our competition level at this point. Let's hope we can play up to our competition level. Prediction: Win

After last night it won’t be a cake walk for Vermont. Are players are starting to get Mack’s system. They’re not there yet but they made a big leap between Nichols St and Southern.

Vermont will probably make 10 or more 3's. Cards will need to have a good shooting game to win.

Louisville 76
Vermont 72

As well as this team shoots free throws (small sample - 77.7% as a team thus far), maybe the best thing to do is attack the rim and get to the line as often as possible.

Vermont has a very good basketball team, and they're well coached. I know the Cards are currently up by double digits early in the second half, but I've been impressed with the ball movement by Vermont.

I have also been really impressed by the level of play from the Cards sans 1 player. That 1 player is Nwora who continues to hurt his team by not passing the ball. If he ever learns to pass, he could be a great basketball player. Hope he figures it out.

Very good win that more importantly will be viewed as a quality win cone tourney time. That Vermont team won 27 games last year and Lamb looks like an nba player.

Our guys need to learn to finish. Obviously that was a struggle last year.

Impressive win. Cards got a little sloppy at the end.

Have to give Mack and staff credit for preparing these guys for this one. They were locked in for most of the game on both ends. Hands up on shooters and on close outs. Overall good effort and good ball movement on offense.

Next up Tennessee.

I love this team. Ryan stepped up at the end and kept us going. If VJ can ever get his game going we could be really good. Cunningham needs to get more involved in distributing the ball and driving. Like the look of Perry, Nwora, Enoch, Malik, Ford, Ryanair Sutton. Lots of hustle among those guys!
