I'm playing catch up and I know Dave has content coming, but here's a few things from the weekend:
- I'm told by a source close to the staff that David Cooper got the same job at Georgia, where his pay was nearly doubled. On the Louisville side, I was told there was nothing they could've done.
- Georgia noticed how well he was doing here, and with him being from Atlanta, everything lined up.
- As far as the visits, I'm told things couldn't have gone better. One source described the weekend as 'fantastic'
- The staff feels like they made a lot of headway with the recruits and their parents.
- As far as the vibe around the program, a source told me that Louisville 'is a special place', and added 'we'll be fine'
- As far as specific visitors, that staff feels like they have a real chance with Jordan Allen.
