So I finally caught up with Dorian Jones and he told me the following:
"The visit was great, I had a blast. The city was great too. I loved the atmosphere and the people. I also like what the coaches are doing on defense as far as the scheme goes. I think I would be a great fit."
That's all I got from him and he never answered me when I asked if he was going to sign this Wednesday.
I also spoke with a Louisville source who told me that Jones, who is committed to Indiana has not flipped and that he has some thinking to do. Louisville is confident they did everything they could on their end to pull of the flip but didn't get an affirmative answer nor were they told if he would sign on the 19th/20th or wait until February.
The weekend before last, Jones took an official visit to Bloomington. I'm sure he would have told me he had a blast, the city was great, blaze blah if I asked him about that.
If I had to choose where he winds up right now I would pick Indiana. He has the longer relationship with them and Louisville kind of came out of nowhere. That being said, if opts not to sign Wednesday Louisville will be very much in the game. I'll have more on this situation as it develops.
