UofL Will Decline NIT If Offered

My initial gut reaction was yeah screw the NIT. But as I think further, you have a ton of young guys that could use some extra experience. So what’s the deal with this? Competitors should want to compete.
Yeah, we make a big deal about how young we are. It would only help us. Give JJ, Nickleberry and Gabe some minutes. Let Withers play the 4.

We are first up if any team fails the virus test this week. All of those conference tourneys this weekend and the odds are pretty good that we get a call. Of course our luck this year, we will have our 3rd round of a virus.

Now if we have learned anything about this schools luck. When we are expecting or hoping for anything positive too happen for us . The opposite happens. So in saying this their will be no covid issues with any team prior to the deadline 6pm Tues. However the day before the first tip it will. Just keeping in theme for how it works for us.

Mack said due to all the injuries, not playing in front of fans, and traveling worries from Covid were the main reasons for not playing in the NIT.

Watched some of the early NIT games. Don't think we would have gone past the first round. It would have hurt more than it would have helped.

Chicken sh!t excuses for not playing in the NIT. Suck it up and go compete. Liking this coach less by the minute.

When life hands you lemons......quit.

It looks to me that clean up needed to happen ASAP and adding more playing time was not in the cards long before the end of our tourney. CCM needed action now and not more of the same ole same ole.

There was grumbling for change. Well, here it comes.
