Ok - I drove all over today and can't find stores with much UofL gear, especially youth gear. All the stores that once housed UofL stuff are nearly all gone... CardWear, Fan Outfitters, Alumni Hall, Cardinal Authentic (football stadium) all gone. Went to JD Becker on Hurstbourne and felt like I was shopping at a store the equivalent of one of those cheap mall kiosks. No adidas gear and the rest were really bad quality clothing. Kohl's, Dick's Sporting Goods at Oxmoor had nothing for kids.
So I say all that to ask.... where in the hell do I get gear for my little Cardinal locally? Obviously, I can order online but I prefer to be able to find places in the city that our university is in to be able to purchase from. Totally bizarre that there's no stores like this around. I know adidas production of this stuff sucks compared to what our blue neighbors get with Nike, but I didn't think it was this bad. Am I missing a cool place like the old stores that are gone?
