Craziest finish I’ve ever seen. App State down 56-49 with 30 some seconds left. Scores TD and goes for two. Misses wide open receiver in end zone. Down 56-55 App St tries on side kick. UNC player takes it for TD and another UNC player gets called for unsportsmanlike like conduct. UNC kicks extra point to go up 63-55. Kickoff from the 20 returned by App St to midfield. 19 seconds and no timeouts but two plays later App St scores TD to pull within 2. QB tries to run it in for 2 point conversion but fumbles at the goal line. App St scored 40 points in 4th Q.

No offense here....but the defense for both teams was offensive to all defensive oriented fans/coaches everywhere.

Glad it was a Carolina team that lost to another Carolina team...barely.

Opening games are crazy so far.

Not a good start for ACC; VT loss to ODU, BC losing to Rutgers, NCST struggled to beat ECU and UNC giving up so many points to ASU is not going to move the needle much for our conference.

Give it time...the ACC can show itself to be even worse as we let it play out. Or we could just cancel all the OOC games now and move on to IC games only.

You can't win them all...and other leagues will have their share of hiccups early too. TBD.
