Where were they from? Felt we got the short end on the calls tonight, especially down the stretch.

I'm not sure if they were ACC or B1G but they were bad. We seem to get the one with the flat top a lot and he consistently makes bad calls against us.

Pat Driscoll is the guy that you are referring to and I agree with your assessment. Horrible call on that offensive goaltending. Honestly I thought the other guy (older / fatter) made the majority of the questionable calls.

Jay Bilas criticized the officiating a lot during the game. He pointed out how the referee making a call did not have the angle to see something, was too far away or was making the call based on the fouled players reaction when he was blocked from seeing the actual foul.

Honestly, I have found him to be one of the more objective and astute commentators on college basketball. I have also found that he thinks for himself rather than getting swept up in the prevailing opinions of the week.
For example, last night, he noted on a foul call against Mahmoud that took place near the basket, that Mahmoud did not do anything worthy of calling a foul, that Spalding made a clean block, and that the official who made the call was out near half court and could not have been able to judge if Mahmoud's hands or arms made adequate contact to be a foul.
