Jai Lucas just wrapped up his second season in Lexington after joining John Calipari’s staff prior to the 2020-21 season. He’s been instrumental in helping the Kentucky Wildcats land top recruits like Shaedon Sharpe, Cason Wallace and Daimion Collins.

This is also another tough blow for Kentucky’s recruiting efforts against Duke, as the Blue Devils have dominated these battles recently. Losing Lucas to Duke will only help Duke stay ahead of Kentucky for top recruits.

Hate to say this but it's UK and snake Oil salesman Calimri. He will more than likely land on his feet with a another decent assist. He will convince someone to follow his pie piper bag as he always does.

I'm sure Cal will bring someone else in, but this still looks kinda bad for them at least on the surface. And their recruiting might take more of a hit while Duke solidifies their hold at the top. But yeah I know uk will not be hard up for top players.
