Big chance to turn around the season. I have been critical of the staff like everyone else but I think we get this done. Just one of those feelings. The staff knows they need it and so do these seniors in Yasir and Malik. Let’s get it done!

Unless it’s 4th and 6+ - offense going to have to go for it. Defense is porous - to put it nicely.

Also Hudson (C) is being abused up front.

Play calling is predictable on offense and defense couldn't tackle a pee wee player
I think the play calls have been better this week but honestly if they don’t score every time and have the ball last, it won’t make a bit of difference with this rat shit defense.

I think the Cards need to force a turnover somehow in the 2nd half. They need a momentum play. Sack fumble. Something. The UCF QB could run wild if he wanted but he hung in the pocket a few times and felt just a little (not lots!) of pressure. He also threw a sideline ball that coulda been a pick6. EDIT-I just can't see the D holding on downs as much this half.

Update - play calling back to being predictable and ineffective. It’s almost as though the game speed is too fast for Sunbelt Scotty.
Not fooling anybody on that second and long run play. I did see a screen play called that worked. For the life of me I can't understand why he doesn't show pass and run that screen play more.

Spoiler Alert: if UCF keeps their QB on the sideline and puts their running back in the Wildcat formation on the goal line, he’s going to run it, right up the gut.

The absolute ineptitude of Satterfield's play calling is remarkable. I will never understand it.

Now it is up to the defense Crap, I posted earlier that who ever has the ball last will win I hope I am wrong.

Did you want to W?
or
Did you want to L just to hasten the departure of HCSS?

Satterfield better thank the defense for saving his job tonight. Especially after going for it on 4th down on your on 48 and getting stopped.
We didn't get stopped. Ford dropped the pass. I agree going for it was not wise but that play was one of the best called plays all game. It should have worked.

That’s the same call that we have scored bunch of touchdowns with the last two years. Timing of throw was of. Otherwise it seems to almost always work. isn’t there an award each year for best ex walk on?

Congratulations on a fantastic win tonight! Kudos to Satterfield and staff, and a crazy effort by your team to close out the night. Your Defense deserves all the praise you can heap on them, as we had to punt 9 straight times!

Your coach took a ton of heat last week, but your team came alive tonight and shook off that game. THIS is the Louisville you can be this season, and you should win your share. If that team out there tonight played Syracuse again, that D would have their way!

Remember that feeling of utter disgust and anger you all felt last week? Well, you transferred that yoke onto the Knights. They must look themselves in the mirror, and admit that they were totally outplayed in the 2nd half. Meanwhile, your guys found some swagger going into the FSU game, and if that D plays lights out again, you should get a W.

Throw some applause Satt's way, too. He made the team believe and you could see the confidence building as they stymied our Offense time after time.
