Tyler Shough

There you go…..

I predict late rounds. Maybe

More likely someone will try to get him as a FA
He's got the arm talent. At 6-5, 225lbs, he looks the part. He's not the most gifted runner, but he can move when needed. Solid character, good head on his shoulders. The injury history will be a concern, but he's been healthy for a while now. A late rounder at best, IMO. He can make a roster, though, as a backup, then wait for his shot.

The only way he wouldn’t benefit from playing is injury.

A big game against Washington would have helped assure his late round status and possibly but him in a middle round.

But it doesn’t matter.

The shitshow is upon us until people won’t pay anymore.

So happy he was able to stay healthy this year. I admit I questioned Brohm about him being the guy. But man Tyler was great for us this season. Good luck to him!

Why did he play against UK?
-he risked injury
-the game didn't mean anything
-we weren't playing for playoffs, we weren't playing for the conference title or championship game
-he could have been training for the draft
-the pros already have your film and know what you are, a big performance doesn't really help your draft status

If I was a coach I would treat the bowl game as an early spring game. I would play the freshman and sophomores to see how they hold up. Which guys can play at this level. What areas do they have to address immediately.

I remember when a Bowl Game was a reward; now it might qualify as a bit of a punishment for some schools and their fans; particularly to UL and those unable to justify the 1,469.8 miles to El Paso. I have a client in Borderland TX who encouraged me to be pack my Desert Eagle .45 if I elect to make the trip …… it is unsafe!

Is this serious a serious question? The game may not have meant anything to YOU but it did to the VAST majority of Louisville fans. Mind boggling what some of you people come up with.

All I can say is thank you Tyler, I loved watching you sling the ball. I wish nothing but the best for him and his Wife. Just like with Ashton, Brooks, and Riley I will be getting their jersey where ever they land next. And I am not a big jersey guy, those were all some of my favorite players from this past years team.

I’m not ulc but I think he was talking from Shough’s perspective.

He could have derailed his “career” by playing at uk as easily as playing the bowl.

So he should have skipped uk to “enhance” his career.

That’s how I took it anyway

A huge rivalry game and breaking a five year losing streak for bragging rights cannot be compared to what amounts to a meaningless exhibition game made even more irrelevant by the expanded playoffs. Nobody blames him for not wanting to play in that. Everybody would have blamed and held it against his legacy of ever playing here not playing in what is the most important game of the year. You don't come to Louisville to not play in the UK game. I don't think that is lost on Tyler at all.

I agree to a degree.

To me however , a bowl game is very important. But who am I? We just pay the freight.
