TV Ratings

Imo Louisville gets so much disrespect. I assume the media outlets must have their villain and we have obliged thanks to Rick Pitino.

They're pissed because they know that Rick Pitino won those games and those nasty, stanky, skank, ugly trick-ass ho's had nothing to do with any of it.
It’s all about who ESPN wants and doesn’t care about imo. If Duke had done the exact same things Louisville had done ESPN would shame the NCAA until they dropped everything against Duke and ESPN would have done it quickly. But in the world today even a sports media outlet has to have a villain to juice up its ratings.
Imagine how many times Cal (as the leader in sports news has termed him) has told the ESPN heads to keep Louisville down? Sports today isn’t much different than democrat politics.

Football board, yo. Basketball has got nothing to do with anything.

ESPN and sports media in general, have looked down on Louisville hoops ever since 1986 when the Cards beat Duke in the finals. They all believed Duke was the better team and couldn't accept they lost to a freshman at Louisville.

This was long before Pitino was here.

As for UofL football, I still think much of the media still looks at Louisville as a non power conference program and that's where the lack of respect comes from.

Performance is the only way to change their opinions. It was almost there when Lamar and the Cards had Clemson beat in that top 5 match-up. Had the Cards won that game maybe they wouldn't have collapsed and things would have went differently with Petrino?
