He really seems to want to get the ball to the bigs. But the biggest thing is, he seems to be getting them the ball close to the rim, and not out on the perimeter, or mid range where they can lose it.

I know, two games against over matched teams makes everybody look better than they are.

But this guy appears to have a calm but attacking approach.

Trey is what I like to call a rhythm player. When he is in rhythm, he can catch on fire and hit a bunch of shots in a row, even off the bounce. If his rhythm is disrupted, it becomes more difficult for him, but he always plays hard and solid defense. We're lucky to have him for this year.

It seems to me he has sublimated his offensive game to attack the PG learning curve. I bet it won't take long either, to find his balance. He can heat up and he has the conscience to keep shooting. So he's a born scorer. But wow, he and Q together absolutely determine tempo.

I am seeing the same thing.

He reminds me of another Cards player...... But the name of that player just won't come to me? Who is it guys?

In terms of body control, and just a smooth glide, maybe DeJuan Wheat? Of course, he's not nearly as good of a player as Wheat. But just their ability to look casual with the ball yet controlled, I could see a comparison there maybe in that regard only?

I was going to say Wheat/Gains hybrid...DeJuan was silky smooth but a little undersized, Reese was a man of many hats and strong like bull.

Trey's game reminds me more of Boo Brewer. About the same size too.

He's making the adjustment to the system right on time. Those games in PR really helped.Being able to control tempo, much like I watched last night with Ulis and UConn a few years back with that guard combo.Peyton was really good at it and it's key to this team.
