In my mind, last night's loss ranks right up there with the Rutgers loss in our Orange Bowl season in football and the Sweet 16 loss to sUcK in basketball two seasons ago as one of my most painful as a Cards fan. In all three games we had the lead late and just needed to close out to seal the deal. All three games were spring boards to potential great things for those seasons. And in all three there were 6-7 plays that if just a single one of them had gone the other way, the Cards prevail.
