First off, I will be pulling for Louisvillle big against Auburn. That is going to be an awesome game. My thoughts on Louisville's season is "It is all about the Quarterback." Get good QB play and I could see Louisville beating Auburn tomorrow and having a great season. Petrino is keeping it under wraps in terms of who he is going with. It sounds like it might be Reggie Bonafon but that is concerning to me. I like Bonafon and he is a very athletic QB, but at least based on what I saw last year he is a little slow making his reads and getting the ball out. Now if anyone can help him improve it is Petrino. But the bottom line is some guys either have it or they don't and noone can really make a definitive opinion on Bonafon in terms of whether he'll get better as a pocket passer. I think Louisville will always have great defenses as long as Grantham is there due to the athletes you have recruited. You guys were definitely spoiled by Bridgewater but Petrino is one of the best developers of QBs out there. He'll eventually get great QB play but the biggest question is "Will that happen this year?" To me how special Louisville's season could be depends on the answer to that question.

Thanks for stopping by Schmidty ... very much looking forward to our second season in the ACC, and especially my bucket list trip to Tallahassee in October.

I do think that Bonnafon gets the start (even though I'm friends with Kyle Bolin's uncle, and I'd love for it to be Kyle), and I think we will see great strides in his quarterback play this year. The reason for that is because this is only his third year as QB, as he was a wide receiver until his senior year at Louisville Trinity High School.

We need some answers at wide receiver and in the offensive line, as well. In the OL in particular it looks to me like we are about a year away - only three seniors in the offensive depth chart. We should be very good on the offensive side of the ball in 2016.

Hopefully all of the Noles fans will be very welcoming toward you guys. You'll love watching a game at Doak. It is awesome. Before the players come out of the tunnel the entire crowd does the Warchant for about 5 minutes. After the Coin Toss Chief Osceola rides to the center and spikes the spear. It's one of the greatest traditions out there. How do you think Louisville will travel to this game? Most of the time there are only three teams on our schedule that bring everybody they are allotted tickets for: That would be Miami, UF and Clemson. A team like a Notre Dame last year also would as well. Do you think Louisville will sell out of their allotment for the game at Doak?

I'm going to Doak. A little Alabama Golf and some Cardinal football. I'm starting to think the QB mystery portends seeing Lamar Jackson more than I would have expected. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

Hey, Schmidty, good to see ya.and great that you're following us. I think we'll sell out our allotment, especially if we are competitive at the leader board. The warm weather is always another incentive for Louisville fans, lol, who count very much on Florida to deliver off season tanning, ha ha.

With the addition of Jackson - and next year, Pass - the entire QB question may once again get tossed into a 3-4-5 way mess-that-is-not-a-mess, and for the years to come. Petrino may have found a route to the rarest of all things - excellent qb'ing by committee.

I worry far more about the OLine and the new WR's. And, frankly, I actually very much believe in our talent at WR, especially including Quick. I think we'll be far faster on offense than last season. Hopefully the team learned how hard it can be on defenses to go 3 and out. Simply sustaining drives - even if at times we don't score - is still a huge determining factor for a team whose defense is in the class we believe ours is.

I definitely think we will bring 5000 fans to the game. How many fans does FSU allot for visitors?

Not sure how many a typical visitor gets. I know Florida and Miami get 10,000 when they visit. But I am not sure if every visitor gets that. I want to say FSU allots 7,500 but I am not totally sure.

If the standings are tight and it's a weekend ballgame, you could be very surprised at Louisville's numbers down there. Our fans hate our boys feeling they might be on some island.
