I'm not going to type the story-line, but had Behanan, Ware & Jones not completely screwed the proverbial pooch, our team, coaches, fans and ultimately themselves, we would have been a real freaking contender...That's on them! And for that, I will never fully forgive them.

Go Cards!

I never felt that way about Jones. Maybe since he was a transfer in.

But I agree with the other 2.

Nunez and Price to some degree too.

Getting a class to their own Senior night is tough.

He would be in the starting lineup had he stayed. Behanan along with Harrell would have made the front court much stronger too.

Things happen for a reason though even if we don't understand why.

Even if we had all three, we still don't have Kentuckys talent. It's going to take a perfect game for someone to knock them off but I like ND's chances.

Kevin was just starting to come into his own. CRP trusted him on D enough to play him. Came back much too soon IMO.

I would never categorize him as a knucklehead. He was just a kid overcome by the situation who decided to go back home and not have everyone's 1st question be about the leg.

Somebody told me Ware was Sun Belt tourney MVP? I don't think he had a great or even good season though? Good post and point, but always forgive! They are young people and deserve some leeway.

There was only one ' knucklehead' and that was Mr puff puff pass bka Behanan.

Then again, what college student doesnt have youthful indescretions.

I believe CB and CJ will pay for their screw up's more than just disappointing us.

They will be mowing Harrell's grass.

Or worse.

Such a judgmental and stupid post.

During our 3 game losing streak in 2013 Ware was suspended. He was key to our Big East tournament run. We struggled against Wichita St the game after losing him. He would have been big for us this year.

WRONG.

Ware played in all 5 losses.

Yes the team did struggle against Witchita without him. First full game without #5.

I don't see how we can hate on CB and/or KW.

CB beasted in the post season and lead us to multiple FF's and a title. He has a substance abuse issue, which is a shame.

Ware helped UofL immensely his Soph season and his contributions helped us in the title run. His exit was somewhat hazy but sometimes it's just time to move on.

Their departures were disappointing, but I can't go hating on them.

The Jones situation, he would be the one to "hate on" the most of the three. He was a shot hunter even when he played, and clearly his refusal to adhere to a friggin curfew rule is pretty insulting to the team, staff, and fans. I'm holding off judgement on the legal part until that's sorted out.

You're right. I was off on the timeline. Thanks!

I still think he was key for us especially late in the season.

KW was not going to be a member of this team this year, with or without the injury. He was not a positive influence the majority of the time he was on the team. The time he attempted to straighten out and make strides ended with his injury.

All 3 of these guys had the talent and opportunity to excel as a person, player, teammate at UofL. Instead, they made selfish horrible decisions causing harm to themselves and the program. The totality of their contributions fails short of expectations IMO.

^^^Well said. Agree 100%.

And for the record, no one here is "hating" on those dismissed players IMO. The message being implied is they all three screwed up enough to be dismissed.

Weed, curfew, attitude...whatever "it" was, they bare the burden...

All three of them could have been here contributing.

Oh what Woulda, Coulda and Shoulda have been.

Sweet 16 here we come!

Go Cards!

Part of it has to go back to recruiting. We lose more players than any other program I've noticed. Our Senior day this year consisted of Blackshear. Jones, Ware, Zach Price..... gone.

Seems like every year we lose a player or two. Part of that goes back to who is being recruited and signed. Gotta lay part of it at RP's feet. How many players have transferred or been dismissed since he's been here? It's an inordinately high number compared to other major D-1 programs.

There's already been talk this year of Aaron and Gill possibly leaving. It seems the beat goes on......
