With the selection committee revealing their brackets Sunday I am sure there will be politics involved. They always say there isn’t any and that their decisions are based solely on the numbers hahaha!!! With that being said I am sure we will be in the same bracket with teams we have a history with. Maybe sUcK, Arizona rematch or UConn possibly Indiana.
Early they had us in the region with sUcK and Arizona in Wichita. It seemed to be the toughest region but I guess that was because we were the 4th number one seed. We might be better off dropping to a 2 seed and being placed in a different region. Whatever the case I am hoping for a long run and we will be one of the final 2 teams playing in the end.

In the past they have lined up many of the male coaches so they could knock each other out in hopes of having all female head coaches in the F4/championship. They also bend the knee to UConn and Tennessee. Stanford and Baylor are close behind those two. However, at the end of the day - earn your two home games and earn your way into the Sweet 16. After that, pretty much all matchups get tough - just gotta win.

Just speculation but I'm guessing UofL is the lowest #1 seed or highest #2 seed and would end up in Wichita with Baylor. The NCAA send NC State east, South Carolina to Greensboro and Stanford stays out west. They'll probably toss UK in our region also.

Just speculation. Lord knows I've been wrong before.

UK right now has the ability to take out anyone in the tournament. I expect the Selection Committee will get us as close to the Wildcats as possible.

I suspect Jeff has spent a lot of time showing film of the two 4th quarter games against NCST and Miami, and then practicing on breaking half court defensive traps.

I think any of the top ten or so teams are capable of taking any of the other top ten or so teams out this year. Having said that, I think that UConn with Paige Bueckers ( assuming she is healthy and continues to recover) back in their line up is the team to beat.
