The Network Selection Committee

Well it is that time of year when all the Presidents of the Universities who are on the selection committee make fools out of themselves. They go behind closed doors and pick teams to make the tournament and pair them up. It is so odd how every year some teams make it who shouldn’t and some teams don’t make it who should.
They come out and state we pick and pair the teams based on strength of schedule, end of year performance, blah, blah, blah. How ironic that so many pairings are with teams that have some type of history with each other. It is almost as if the network who is paying big bucks give the committee a list of what teams they want in and how to pair them.
So here is a question who will be the teams that they will try to pair us with? Could it be the usual suspect Michigan St. or could they put us in a matchup with sUcK or might it be my favorite suspect Dayton. Dayton is Xaviers biggest rival and Mack and his wife had trouble with the Dayton fans. It could also be Xavier, well whoever it is look for the Presidents on the selection committee to look stupid again.

I thought Cincy was Xavier's biggest rival.

Back to your post, if Xavier makes the tournament, I can definitely see them in our bracket for the storyline just like last year how they magically pitted UofL against Minnesota.

Other than that I'm tired of having to play Michigan State in the tourney.

Xavier’s biggest rivalry might be Cincinnati but Dayton’s biggest rivalry was Xavier. Christi MacK went to Dayton where she played basketball and the school retired her number. The Dayton fans always heckled Christi MacK whenever they played Dayton. The Mack’s where glad to get away from that game.

Yes, the Michigan State match ups are getting old.

UofL seems to be the only university in the country that never has a President or AD on any kind of NCAA committee.

Maybe the new NET program will blow their fricking minds and they will forget how they normally do us.
